| Popular children's book author and illustrator, Tedd Arnold, recently visited Ochwilla Elementary MediaCenter. Tedd has written and illustrated over 50 books and is best known for No Jumping on the Bed, Green Wilma, Huggly, Parts, and his latest Fly Guy series. Residents of Elmira, N.Y., he and his wife have been enjoying our Florida winter weather with family at one of the nearby lakes. |

group of teachers and students ranging in age from pre-K to
5th grade were all mesmerized by his entertaining
presentation. He shared the inspiration for some of his stories and
characters and talked about the processes involved in creating a
children's book. He even brought along stuffed
animals that belonged to his sons Walter and
William and appear in the books No Jumping on the Bed and No More
Water in the Tub. Tedd will be visiting us again this winter, so stay tuned for more information. |
